Patti Jones Campaign office discovered by LCR editor

LCR EXCLUSIVE!

This editor has uncovered a document in Bill McCay's campaign donor public record that shows County Commissioner Patti Jones is operating a campaign office at the following address.

Patti Jones Campaign
7606 University Avenue Suite D.
Lubbock,Texas

This editor visited this location and Suite D is actually an Edward T.Jones investment office that has it's only entrance on the side(North) of building. I personally inquired about this operation but did not get details of who Jones' campaign treasurer is. Receptionist claimed that her husband is Jones campaign treasurer but only handles her campaign books. When asked about the phone polls using Jones,Dan Jackson,John Leonard and Robert Pratt's names as a preference receptionist claimed no polls were being conducted at this office to her knowledge. This editor informed lady that Patti Jones could not conduct any business as Patti Jones For County Judge without first resigning as Commissioner and receptionist became somewhat nervous. I handed her my LCR blog card and said,"If you see Commissioner Jones, tell her Clif Burnett is looking for the source of the phone polls with her name in preference list."

This editor believes the preference poll(s) are being done "on the sly" by someone associated with Patti Jones or campaign donors thereof.

Quincy Carter quits Ruff Riders in Abilene

Abilene,Texas - Quarterback Quincy Carter is no longer with the Abilene Ruff Riders after not showing up to play at Saturday's Ruff Riders' game against Odessa at Taylor County Coliseum. When the Riders were introduced, Randy Hymes was named as the starting quarterback. Hymes, who signed with the Riders as a receiver and caught four touchdown passes last week against San Angelo, played quarterback in college at Grambling. His last game as a quarterback was in 2000. Riders coach Gerald Dockery said he was called by Carter about 3 p.m. Saturday and the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback told him he wasn't playing. Both Dockery and Welch said Carter continually tested their patience during the season even as they tried to work with him. Hymes will be the teams' quarterback for the playoffs, Dockery said.____(Abilene Reporter News/Greg Jaklewicz copy)

John Cornyn booed at Austin tea party

Austin,Texas(AP) - Texans tired of big government and taxes rallied on courthouse and Capitol lawns, at times interrupting the remarks of Sen. John Cornyn in Austin. From Gilmer and Lufkin in East Texas to Austin and Dallas, hundreds of people gathered on the Fourth of July for Independence Day tea parties. In Austin, Cornyn was booed at the start and close of his remarks critical of federal spending and taxes. Cornyn, a Republican, said after his speech that he wasn't part of Washington and can vote no on reckless spending bills. Gov. Rick Perry told the Austin crowd that Washington needed to hear them "loud and clear" on a message of cutting spending and taxing.____(AP copy)
______

John Cornyn got same treatment Chris Winn/Carl Isett got at 4th on Broadway parade,BOOED! Austin residents "booed" republican John Cornyn for his involvement in "big government" and pork barrel spending thereof that has resulted in higher taxes and more government spending. Cornyn was probably caught off guard since Texas is a republican state.

Does LISD have a lesbian principal at Haynes Elementary?

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock ISD and a former school teacher go to trial in federal court July 13th. The two sides are still fighting in a nearly two year old legal battle. Tarrah Shea Waller claims she was the victim of discrimination and harassment. She says she was fired after refusing sexual advances from the female principal of Haynes Elementary. In court records, the LISD said there was a legitimate business interest in asking Waller to resign. LISD also denies the allegations of sexual harassment.___(James Clark/KCBD copy/AJ screen capture)
______

This story has been "off-the-radar" as local school district has been fighting this terminated teacher for 2 years. This has a beautiful lady teacher claiming she refused sexual advances of female principal at Haynes Elementary and was terminated for being normal. This exposes the "possibility" of LISD having a "damn homo/lesbian" in a principal's office at Haynes Elementary. If LISD settles this suit "out-of-court" to keep dirty laundry off court record the LISD board and new dictator at LISD(Garza) will have a "real crisis" in credibility. This editor is normal and considers the lesbian lifestyle "bad for public schools" period.

Fireworks trash not that bad

July 4th fireworks weekend was not as active as previous years. Lubbock County Commissioners Court even unbanned bottle rockets to help local vendors sell overpriced goods. County Commissioners said "to hell" with county residents and allowed dangerous bottle rockets to be sold and fired off all week. County residents have lame volunteer fire department protection and residents are lucky that no major fires have been reported. County Commissioners are now "whining"(Patti Jones especially) about 4th of Jult fireworks "trash" on county roads when they encouraged fireworks sales and use. Local media even has went as far to find filmclips of fireworks trash giving Patti Jones airtime to promote her political aspirations for next year. This editor cleaned up CR 1520 as a public service and Patti&Steve Jones should clean up North Quaker as well and quit the "damn whining".
