Citizens say no to splash pads and soccer fields

Lubbock voters said no to recreational facilities and yes to fire and road maintenance. It's kinda surprising that soccer field went down to defeat but borrowing money for these two items was pound foolish and local property taxes have already went sky high due to mismanagement at city hall. This editor applauds then voting population for their rejection of the recreational facilities financing.
