UMC and Lubbock are now illegally withholding public record from LCR on KiCorp contracts,UMC Holdings,County Commissioners July session and UMC expansion contracts. Both Lubbock County and UMC are taxpayer funded and both appear to be flagrantly hiding business details that could show lavish contracts with local contractors. Bene Hemmeline and UMC bureaucrats are known to be secretive and dishonest in their public record release process. UMC consistently puts out misleading and altered public record and Lubbock County regularly claims they can't find or refuse to find documents that relate to expenditures of public money. This editor also requested to see all travel expenditures for Patti Jones in 2008 and those documents are also being withheld illegally. Texas Attorney General's Office has received complaints on both these agencies criminal misconduct and they refuse to take action. This editor believes Patti Jones has traveled extensively and used lavish hotels and airlines with taxpayer money. The KiCorp contracts also have involved as much as tens of thousands of dollars per month in salaries and programs in both 2007 and 2008. UMC and Doyce Middlebrook also are involved with Lee Lewis in a "boondoggle" that documents could reveal just how "porky" UMC is in it's expansion program with taxpayer money. LCR submitted all the above OR requests on July 21(Tues).It's been 2 calender weeks plus 2 days which is more than 10 business days. Law states all entities have 10 business days or 2 calender weeks.
