This editor has known about the "Hate Obama" movement within the Lubbock County Republican Party. Judge Head posted the same comics that this editor refused to publish at LCR. Chris Winn and other republicans approached this editor months ago with the idea of publishing the comics in question at a Young Republican meeting that included Todd Bezner,Chris Winn and Jean Ann Stratton. This editor flatly refused to get involved in this "attack the Democrats" on the grounds that LCR is a local politics format and used by this editor to expose local republicans like Head,Patti Jones and Bill McCay as well as Tom Martin and Paul Beane. This editor knows that Paul Beane is "anti-Democrat" since Paul Beane flatly asked this editor in a KRBL-FM interview in 2008 campaign that had me pitted against Chris Winn and Bill Franklin the following question.Paul Beane - "Clif,Are You Suggesting Someone Consider Voting For A Candidate That's Not A Republican".
Clif Burnett - "I am a ticket splitter and in general elections are vote for democrats and libertarians on many occasions because the local ex-democrat republicans are "higher taxes,bigger government" and I'm the "smaller government" candidate in the Republican County Chair race."
The current Judge Head controversy is rooted in the "Gang of Four" mentality that included Tom Head,Patti Jones,Bill McCay and Mark Heinrich. Heinrich is the most conservative of the 4 but many votes on Commissioner Court issues has been 3-1(democrat seldom votes with republicans Jones,McCay and Heinrich). Tom Head is a devout hypocrite and is a known career government worker who has moved from job to job as a "Government Hog At The Trough" and is "big government","closed government" and "gestapo tactics government". Head even attempted to stop this editor from addressing pork barrel items in UMC budget last year that were "favors for campaign donors" by trying to get Senor David Guiterrez to stop my 3 minute address at the mic. This editor refused their intimidation and Patti Jones/Bill McCay's donors getting UMC favors was exposed in that address.
The Tom Head problem is a "Lubbock County Republican Party problem". Such clowns as Chris Winn,Greg Lewis,Skeet Workman,Irene Howell,Marc McDougal and Paul Beane are the core of the "Tom Head problem".
LCR and this editor calls for Judge Head to resign and the above clowns should form their own circus without the (R).
