This editor officially "booed" the Lubbock Republican Party/Chris Winn cube float at the 4th On Broadway parade. The parade was from downtown to Broadway and University and was heavily attended. Confederate Veterans were also in parade with Republican Precinct 46 Chairman Rick Uhlig carrying a flag(confederate job). Other parade participants were the lawnmower brigade,EMS ambulances,Lubbock Fire Department and various churches with travel-alls. One charity was even trying to sell large bags of popcorn($1 at Wal-Mart,$3 at Fair)for a robber barron price of $6. This editor turned away from 6 dollar popcorn._______________________________________________
