City of Lubbock to spend nearly million bucks on various projects

Today's city council agenda is almost a million bucks in various spending projects.Here's the details.

Solid Waste will get a wheel washing systen for $111,000 from Interclean Equipment in Michigan.


Solid Waste will buy a 30 ft high and 1,000 long litter fence for $69,000 from Net Connection in Alabama.

City will do drainage construction at 98th St. with Lone Star Dirt and Paving at cost of $528,000.

City will do drainage project for Erskine St. at cost of $80,000 with West Texas Paving in Lubbock.

City will do contract with Talon of Amarillo to demolish George Woods Swimming Pool at Mackenzie Park for $98,000.
